Just pick up a LCP Max and it’s a bit bigger that my original LCP.

I love pocket carry, and the LCP original was perfect, didn’t print at all. But the MaX is very noticeable in my pocket. Who knew a tiny bit of size made such a big difference.

I don’t have my original LCP anymore but it looks like I’ll be in the market for the Original

:(

I’m going to try a Desantoes holster, the grip is a but more chunky. Kidda in between Original LCP & LC9

Might want to try a kydex pocket holster as they’re generally thinner. I’m not a big fan kydex pocket holsters myself but it’s an idea, some folks love them.
I still carry an original LCP occasionally myself.

Sometimes bigger isn't better. I've looked, held and compared the pluses and minuses of the LCP Max vs the original and I'm sticking with the original.

My biggest concern with the original LCP is I have become so used to it being there that I don't even think about it being there. I hope I remember it's there if I ever need it.

yeah, I don’t have my original anymore. I’m going to look for one. I like the manual safety in it too. and yes, you forget it there. I’ll find a role for this Max. But it is noticeable bigger

The LCP Max is a little bigger, but if you use a trigger sheath, rather than a pocket holster, you end up with a package that is thinner than an LCP in a pocket holster.

I have been using that for about a year, and it works great. The loop goes around your belt. Gun with sheath is in pocket. Draw gun, loop tightens, sheath breaks away, and you are ready to go.

I have never seen anything like that before! and only $20 too!

my only issue is: I work in the public, and I need very deep concealment and no printing. I’ll get a pocket holster, the one ruger provides is flimsy and prints. But I think the best solution is to go back to the very thin original LCP. I will find a role for this Max! it feels good in the hands.

I found the same thing going from an LC9s to a Max 9. On paper they look very close in size, but in your pocket it’s quite a noticeable difference. I kept the LC9s for pocket carry and got a owb holster for the max 9

Of course it's bigger. They had to fit all of the extra rounds in there somewhere.
I'm not a pocket carry fan, but the Max is a very concealable pistol in an IWB holster.
I have been carrying one daily for about 9 months now and love it.

that’s correct, on paper is good, in pocket is something else.

I currently pocket carry a LC9. With a Cell phone case taped to the pocket holster. Doesn’t get in the way or hinder the draw. Just looks like I have a phone in my gun pocket

The issue I have is I can't go for a .380 IWB over 9mm, but for pocket carry I'm more than fine with it provided I can fit the .380 in my pocket.

This is the first LCP vs LCP Max comparison photo I've seen and didn't know there was a height difference that noticeable.

But the MaX is very noticeable in my pocket.
Yeah nobody else will though most are too busy looking at their phone.

I had mine in a Desantis Nemasis for a while and found that it would occasionally bump the mag release, swapped to a Vedder kydex pocket holster it does a good job of protecting the button.

For comparison, my LCP Max vs the Ruger LCP1. The difference is indeed noticeable, I hate it when someone says they are the same size gun!

I still carry my original, though this is also because my LCP Max was a lemon.
did you send back your Max to Ruger. Was wondering about the reliability of the double stack. That’s why I prefer single stack, very reliable

I haven't bought a Max because when I carry the LCP, it's usually in the breast pocket of an overshirt or light jacket.

No way no how is the Max fitting in there.

I shoot the LCPII better than the original, but that's just me.

Trade ya! :)

(I have a "first gen, post recall" LCP that I don't use and carry, only keep in case I might someday need something smaller than anything else I have.)

You just need to invest in better pockets. :D

Wait... Is your state is limiting pocket capacity? Crap. Is there a group of anti-pantsers trying to make big pockets illegal?
Now I'm concerned. I'm going to have to research the nefarious purse lobby and their anti-pocket agenda.
