Lee 6000 press

Found a pic of part of the primer feed system in the parts portion of their website.

If this turns out to be a reliable priming system, I will definitely snag a Pro 6000

"summer 2022"
Last I recall a season is a 3 month window.
I am still waiting patiently for my pre-order of Pro 6000 ... I know it will come :)

Nice. Based on what I have seen, I am anticipating that it will be a new reliable priming system.

I think I'll call Lee on Monday and see if they have any new news on when the six station press will be released. I don't want to put anyone here on the spot by asking them something their not allowed to tell us.
If I get anything new out of them, I'll post it here.

Has anyone seen any videos on it's use? I've been on the Lee web site multiple times since they announced it, including today, and found nothing.

I have a Pro 4000 that I am happy with but the changes they have made and adding stations has peaked my interest!!!

Any response is appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

yeh that, and with all the primer system parts listed tells me that priming setup is mostly new, not the old trough or pez dispenser design.
I'm sure you will like it over the pez dispenser on your Pro 4000!
I found more info at Titan than Lee, I'm on their notify list for the Pro 6000 but still waiting on that.
:cuss:
.

So it's officially late August........

Not even any Lee made videos to be found. I'm anxious to see the new priming system

I predict a Hot Mess 6 Stack!

RCBS makes a 7 Station, on sale right now on Mudway for $799. All the progressive need and great CS! just try to break something RCBS < and they will mail you a new one

Nope

I'll give up 2 stations on my 650 for a case feeder any day.

You don't have to give up either. You can buy a Dillon Case feeder for the ProChucker 7 (easy to adapt), or you can print one like I did for about $60 including the cost for the motor and electronics.

So I get seven stations, a case feeder and a bullet feeder. Here's a vid of my case feeder's first trial run feeding .223. I can print a new caliber plate for about $5.00 worth of PLA plastic, bolts, and nuts. (and it has a built-in clutch even) More work though......but I like projects....keeps my brain young.

NAW I want one that you pour the empties into the hopper, it fully reloads them and then stuffs them into the magazine so I never have to touch them.
Would be nice.......maybe in the next life. Maybe I should forget about keeping anything young......just die and get to that funner next life.;)

Lee 6000 press ... "summer 2022"
Response to my pre-order request in May

"Thank you very much for your interest in our new Pro 6000 ... Yes, we will allow you to pre-order one of these presses from us directly. I will put you on my calendar to follow-up with mid-June when we are a little closer.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Weber, Lee Precision, Inc."

Lee website now states ... "Available late August 2022"
Well, I got this email on 8/31/22 (Wait, did Stephanie get married to a Lee and now VP?)

"Dear Lee Customers,

Here we are, end of the month August 31st. I have some great news to
share, after much delay, a limited number of the Six Pack progressive
presses are available. Unfortunately, the steel press base was dented
and battered during the pre-plating process (see attached photo).

The tools are all dimensionally correct and function perfectly. You signed
up to be notified on the new Six Pack, and we would like to offer these
less than perfect presses to you at a 40% discount. The supply is
limited to just 72 presses. One per customer, first come, first served.

Stephanie Lee, Vice President"

So I called Lee Customer Service to order one of these "scratch and dent" Pro 6000s and learned that all 72 press kits were configured for 45 Colt.

"No problem" I told the nice lady and we added the 9mm shell plate (Part #91851) so my Pro 6000 with the 19S shell plate is on its way.

BTW, 72 press kits are all sold out and if you want a Pro 6000, you would need to wait for the next production run but you would get shiny new press bases, not the custom ones with "distressed" look.

Well, @LiveLife , did you get the skinny on Stephanie? Did you pump the nice lady for info on the phone?

Did Stephanie marry into the Lee clan, thereby assuring herself a life of ease and plenty? If so, did you offer your heartfelt congratulations?

Inquiring minds want to know !

I guess they don't allow Vice President to answer customer service calls. :p

I did talk to a nice lady (Lee customer service ladies are always nice and friendly, at least to me :)) who ordered the "beat up base" Pro 6000 kit for me.

And unfortunately I made the Stephanie Weber/Lee, VP discovery after the phone call ... You know, they could be two different people with Stephanie Lee being daughter/granddaughter of Richard Lee. ;)

I could ask next time I call Lee customer service (which is rare as my Lee equipment hardly breaks).

Does anyone know if the mounting bolt pattern matches any of the other lee presses? I'm set up for the inline quick change system.

She is Richard's granddaughter, married name is/was Weber.
