My dad has been bugging me to find these for sale online. I remember seeing magazine adds for tapered expander/decapping rods that would supposedly ease the force needed when drawing the rod through the neck of brass. I recall being under the impression that it was sort of a cheaper substitute for carbide button equipped decappers such as Redding sells as aftermarket replacements. Allegedly these Lee rods were supposed to be sold aftermarket, and would equip new dies as well. Has anyone seen these for sale or am I crazy? I checked Lee's website, and no luck there, either.

Go to Lee's website, find the page for the Pace Setter die sets, find the appropriate caliber, then click "Serv. Parts." You can order the EasyX Expander Decapper (EZ X EXP ....) for $3.00. These are held in place with a collet; they may or may not fit other dies with collet held decapping rods (like Hornady I believe). You can order the decapper collet for $1.50. However, I don't think the collet will fit most dies (I know they won't fit my Lyman or Redding dies). You should call Lee and ask if they make the "decapper clamp" collet to fit other dies. Or just buy a Lee sizing die...
