I added a few pieces and thought it might be neat to start a black rifle thread. From top to bottom:

DSA STG 58 FAL.

National Match AR 15 service rifle built on a Fulton Armory lower, National match upper chambered in .223 Wylde, heavy stainless air gauged NM barrel, free floated service rifle style, national match front sight post, NM rear sight, Geissele hi speed service rifle National Match trigger.

Century Arms Polish AKMS underfolder.

Lets see some pics :D. I want to see what my next addition might be.

nothing like giving the entire world a permanent visual, electronic record of what rifles you own.
One of my photos (a converted CUR2) was taken and used by video game programmers, and also one of my posts (I couldn't believe it either) was quoted by russian nationals debating different AK's in RUSSIAN. I had to use an online translator to figure out what they were typing about me. Google your handle sometime and see what comes up.
I wish there were a law that all these sites had to purge all posts once a year or once every two years.

That's part of using the Internet. Perhaps you would feel more comfortable using a private Intranet.

My latest rifle acquisition [until the Mosin I ordered shows up, probably next week].

The SKS does count right? I mean it's got one of those evil bayonets, a super evil grenade launcher, it's banned in CA, and it even has it's own anti-gun study! (http://www.vpc.org/graphics/sksfactsheetfinal.pdf)

Or would it need a black synthetic pistol grip stock to be truly evil?

I once found a pic of my personal CETME rifle being used by someone on a WTS ad on a forum site. Struck me like a thunderbolt seeing that, but it taught me caution for internet purchases.

I have a black rifle. She's not evil, actually behaves quite nicely. Unfortunately, recent pics are unavailable.
Mine are actually quite well behaved too. The adjective "evil" was put in quotes as sort of a joke. It always cracks me up when someone says one of these is evil or looks dangerous because it has a flash suppressor, a 30 round mag and a pistol grip.

100% black, 0% evil!

AR-15 a little neutered to NJ laws, but otherwise intended to imitate an M16A2:

And mshootnit: As long as you don't link your username to anything personal, why worry about pics? Only you can allow your account to be linked to the real you!

Doesn't really concern me. Part of the reason I like these threads is that I want the rest of the world to know that these rifles are more common than people think. Actually, very normal people own these. Besides, my byline up until a few years ago was all over the net and that doesn't bother me either. Ol' scratch has nothing to do with my byline and on top of all of that, I picked a name that people won't associate with me at all. I did that on purpose.

Didn't you already poopoo another picture thread with this tinfoil nonsense?

The ATF is not tracking and cataloging photographs, and it's pretty common knowledge that any picture on the internet is up for grabs.

They already have my name, SSN, and home address on file anyway since I got my 03 FFL last year. I'm sure many other members here have FFLs of one type or another, or NFA items.

Since I'm already posting, here's another pic. There's at least one Evil Black Rifle in there.
