tipoc, that 1967 Government Model is a beauty. That Combat Commander is rather elegant too. I have a 1964 Government, accurized by Clark in '66, then returned to Clark in '98 for the tune up they offer and some other work. The S&W .45s are Performance Center CQBs from several years ago,
I just purchased this the other day for $300, it is about 100 percent original bluing with just a little wear and that is on the grips but damned if it does not look like new. Took it out to the range today only to find the sights had been set for a left handed shooter so I just switched hands, but it outperforms my other pistols - it was amazing for a gun made in the late 40's. there is no markings on the right side of the gun slide and no import marks at all. I would purchase another if I found one.
My other .45 is a Taurus PT145 Millennium Pro.
