i am jealous. the only gun that i have that i would want to trick out like that is my mossberg 500 .410 gauge. it already has a short (24inch) barrel, so do u guys know if there are any aftermarket stocks for the .410 model 500. is the stock on this gunidentical to stocks on other model 500s.

Donkee, are those Sellier & Belliot rounds on your shotty?

If so, what's your opinion of them?

I saw a few boxes of them (12 ga, 00 buck) at the gun shop yesterday, really reasonably priced. Only reason I didn't buy it was because the shop employee was being a bit snooty about them.

It's a combination of Breneke rifled slugs and the Nobel Sport 12 pellet 00buck that AIM is selling. Winchester cheepie is a little tighter the the NS 12 pellet. I haven't tried the S&B stuff yet. I gave up patterning till after I ream the forcing cone. Just did a few for side by side comparison after the deed has been done.....

I've shot quite a bit of S&B OO buck. They are definitely full power, but not too bad. Pattern is not real tight, but plenty good for HD. They are great practice OO loads. My prefered HD load is Hornady TAP low recoil OO buck. They pattern about 2.5 inches at 10 yards from my 18" cylinder bore.

Mossberg 500 & Friend

Mossberg has Surefire front end, factory Heat Shield, Hogue 12" LOP stock, Side-Saddle, and Tru-Glo front sight. Single Point sling adapter is self-constructed and sling is modified UM's 3-pt tactical.

The "friend" is a customized Arsenal Inc. SAM-7S...they like to go to the range together and make loud noises.

The Mossberg was updated last night to add an improved home-made single point sling adapter constructed by a friend, and I swapped over an AK sling to it which has been reconfigured for a single point attachment approach. A dot is going on it in the near future. Will post update pic's when completed.

New guy here. Got an 870 with and 18 inch bbl. Thinking of putting a Knoxx Copstock folder on it but I don't see anything wearing one in the tactical shotgun section. Any problems with this device? Will be used for HD and as a kayak gun.
