Hmmm.... is it just me, or am I the only one thinking there is some kind of secret code, secret club, secret group, and secret-secret things going on in this thread, and a lot of Glock guys infiltrating The High Road?

Nothing secretive, number6. Stephen was just poking good-natured fun at one of my more childish moments on another board which shall not be named. I am on the disavowed list, and am seeking asylum here. Let's hope the paperwork goes through...
 
It is good too see so many friendly names. This seems like such an informative place I look forward too learning from the regulars here as well. Jason I think I'll go with the .40 p239 and get the .357 Sig barrel and mags for Christmas. :D

Sorry for the inside jokes, it is just great to see friends that were lost for a little while and have found a new home

It's funny, a lot of the new arrivals, the glock guys as you call them, do not even own glocks. I should have changed my handle a long time ago because I do not have a g22 anymore. I am becoming more of a revolver man myself.

I have been a member here since the beginning, but read more than I post. There is so much good knowledge here. Most of the time, when I am reading a thread and think of something to contribute, most of the time someone says it before I can post it myself.

I think your handle is great. How was the number6 dance anyhow?
 
Stephen, thanks. But no apology neccessary. I actually found the posts amusing and interesting. Sort of got the feeling an invasion was happening, lol. And, it's great to see new members with new ideas and thoughts.

number6 = I originally registered under a different name (Heywood Jablome) that was unacceptable to the forum guidlines. Justin (a mod) was kind enough to delete my name and hand me this one as a temporary until I came up with a different handle. I decided to keep it because in truth I own 5 firearms, and my next one will be Number 6. :) And I like this one a lot better. Not so "in your face", if ya know what I mean! :D
 
El Tejon, thanks! And yes, I drew that conclusion about Justin when he emailed me and asked me to change it and to get back with him when I came up with a different name. He could have bounced me I suppose, or read me the riot act, but instead he was cool about it and I really appreciated it.

I look forward to learning as much as possible in here and becoming someone who hopefully can give advice to others that seek answers.
