Two injured after shootout at Inver Grove Heights liquor store
Shots were fired at a liquor store in Inver Grove Heights Thursday morning, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has confirmed.
The shooting happened just after 10:30 a.m. at the Trail Liquor store on the 9700 block of South Robert Trail.
Police reported that a suspect entered the liquor store with a weapon and was shot by the store clerk. The suspect then fired back and hit the clerk, police reported.
Both were taken to a local hospital; the extent of their injuries were not released.
The names and conditions of the suspects were also not released.
