ugh.

I want to be FAR away from said house with a defensive posture on that threat axis in case bad guys run inbound from THAT house. LOL.

That's like running to a forest fire asking if you can help out.

I'd ready my house/family by locking doors, windows etc. Being in a defensive posture and watching from indoors with the dogs on alert. No way would I try to get in between the police & the BGs.

We get helicopters hovering around looking for perps on occassion and I have worried about the BG hopping the fence and coming in as they did to my nextdoor neighbor (hid under her house!), but with our dogs in the yard they'd probably avoid my fence.
