Anyone have load data for 7.62 x 39 with .310 123 gr bullet using H4227 powder ( powder is over 30 years old but still good)
Thanks
Thanks
Actually, they were a big help IMO. Usually when the powder manufacturer doesn't have data for a powder/cartridge combination there is usually very good reason. I know powders are hard to find but if you could find another powder you will be better off.Called Hodgdon
Today they have no data( 7.62 x 39) for IMR4227 or H4227 except for a 108gr bullet
They are no help
If the data is in a Lyman book it's probably good. I know what you mean about wanting to use up powders you no longer use much.I just looked up Lyman
Imr4227---123gr bullet for 7.62 x 39 use 20 to 22 gr
It appears that my IMR4227 load is good
BTW--I have lots of powder--just trying to use up some of the old stuff
