Just before the Iraq conflict started I placed an order for a Knight Armament SR-25 Mark 11 Mod 0 ,Seal type ,rifle package with a dealer who said they were on order and expected them soon. I paid cash(I could have bought a Barrett M82 .50 cal package for less money, but where can you shoot a .
50 cal. even in Texas)After checking with the dealer every month for over two years, the dealer said that Knight would not ship for at least another four years because of the war, so I cancelled the order.
Using the refund, I bought 3 new all stainless Sig P226 pistols with 15 new extra Sig 15 rd mags, one new custom Remington Mod 700 with Kreiger stainless match barrel, Leupold Mark 4 4.5x14.5x40 scope with Mark 4 rings and base, McMillan stock, Harris bipod, competition leather rifle sling, a newColt AR15A3 HBAR carbine, 2 new Storm double rifle hard guncases, various ammo.
I think I came out ahead. What do you think?
But I still get pissed when I see a Knight Armamant SR-25 on the news. Sorry, I want our troops to have the best they can get, because they are the best you can get. Get Some!
