I went to my local shop today and felt that my one P7M8 was feeling a bit lonely and ended up picking up (2) P7 PSP Grade A, along with a new AG code MK 23. I am so excited. The other two guns I own are a Kahr PM9 and SIG 226. The MK23 is the first .45 i have owned and was amazed at the low recoil The gun was dead accurate and easy to shoot. I am totally in love.

WOW! Now that's what I call having a GOOD DAY! Great taste in HK's! I need to get my hands on a Grade A PSP as well! ;)

Forgive my ignorance, but isnt that Mk23 the same platform as the SOCOM? Either way, it's a sweet pistol!

Pretty much the same pistol. The military issued one has "MK23-Mod0" or something similar on the slide, whilst the civilian version has "Mark 23". Also, there's a debate as to whether there is a slight difference in bore diameters between the two. H&K says no, but folks that have had the opportunity to compare them say yes.

Very Nice

I'm not a fan of the Mk23, or any of the full size USP's but I must admit a deep seated love of the P7!

I had the opportunity to shoot one with a fellow at the local range (SGC) who'd never shot a Sig before so we swapped for a few minutes. I loved it!

Enjoy those 3!

Just out of curiosity why would there be a difference in bore diamater between the two? Make it looser so SF guys can shoot with sand/seaweed/smurfs in the barrel?

Sweet heaters alpha!
