I load the freight trailers for UPS and the amount of powder, ammunition, and rifle cases coming through the system is mindboggling.

Whats in the other 3 boxes? lol Or did you order from 4 different companies?
I ordered 2Krds of 9mm, along with some other misc ammo and other items and it all came in one box about that size.

yeah there was 800rd in 2 of the boxes, and 700rds in each of the other boxes. for a total of 3000rds. i have no idea why they pacaged them the way that they did.
i didn't get the best deal on it, i was gonna order the cheaper stuff but no one had any instock so i ordered the wwb from cabelas. i needed ammo sooner than later so i could get the testing of the glock 23 started. i remember when i got 3000rds of ultramax for right at $500, that is not the case anymore.
the good thing about cabelas is that they ship fast and there shipping isn't that bad at all, actually $30 less than other places i looked.

I'd be interested to see the results of your tests on the Glock 23. My neighbor has one. I got to shoot it when we went hunting last year.I don't know if it was a fluke or not, I just put a few rounds through it, but I was hitting better with it than I was with my XD. I don't really want to like Glocks but it kinda made me think I might have to get one one day.

Putting all the ammo in a single box might have made it too heavy to carry.
