I am looking for a DA/SA 9mm pistol with a mag capacity of 15 rounds or less because of state laws. Prefer something more towards a full sized. The ones I know of already are FNP-9M, H&k P30, 92SF and Sig P226. What else is out there?

A S&W Model 5900 series are good values. Trigger reset is better than most and magazines are easy/cheap to find.

Not quite full size but the Bersa Thunder UC and Bersa Firestorm Mini are DA/SA, hold 13 rounds and are nice reliable guns at a nice price.

+1 on the Bersa Compacts. I *almost* snagged one at a local gun show but passed it up. You also cannot go wrong with the 92FS.

P99 AS.

Taurus 24/7 pro DS models
Taurus 24/7 G2 models

P99 is my favorite...thought the G2 isn't out yet and it looks nice.

Yeah, I have been looking for the FNP-9M for some time now. No luck so far. And thanks for the replies everyone, been looking up these guns for the last hour or so.

There's always the HK USC and P2000. I carry a USC either in 9mm, or .40. Both have had match triggers installed.

Sig Sauer SP2022 in 9mm

id recommend the sp2022 in 9mm by sig. it is a polymer framed pistol designed for LE and military applications. i picked up mine from buds after reading the many comments left by other buyers on buds website. tons and tons of rave reviews.

it comes with night sights and two, yes TWO 15 round magazines, sig gun oil, and a nylon barrel brush. it has a great feel in the hand, and is very accurate. has run 100% with lots of types of ammo.

all this for less then $500

-its the one on the top left-

You might want to consider the now being imported P225's from Switzerland from top gun supply of course they are I think only 8 rd mags. Still not a bad deal for the money.

i am not a fan of da/sa but if i was gonna get one i would go with either a sig or an h&k. more specifically a sig p226, or p229 form sig or from h&k a usp or a P2000.

My personal favorites are the HK USPc and in particular the HK P2000SK, but only because I detest safeties. My son has a HK P30, that strikes me as nothing shy of perfection, (but my experience with it is limited).

Just curious...which state sets the limit at 15 rounds or less?

The great state of NJ of course! :neener: Also, concealed carry is not even an option in my state. The gun is going to primarily be a range / home defense gun until I get my shotgun.

FEG P9R - if you can find one. I think it is 14+1, sa/da, full sized and has been perfectly functioning since I have had it. IF you can find one, they start about 250 used.
