In my experience it does not suffer nearly the amount that the DA/SA does. Have you ever shot the SA only model?
The link I provider for the pistol in the thread was from CZ Custom. I just think its the best option in his price range. If he can find one used it would even leave some financial room for custom work.Yup i have... You are correct that they suffer less but they still suffer from it and the only way to get rid of it is to have a trigger job done by someone like Angus.

I have no problems buying used.
Do this with a crap ton of guns. Hold ones that you don't want due to trigger action too. You will be surprised what you really like as opposed to what you thought you wanted.Go to the shop and put them in your hand. Pull some triggers. You can find BHPs for less than $600 all the time if you are patient.
Nice gun...I agree with the if it fits your hand part.I agree with that. They are a good gun if they fit your hand. They do not fit mine. The same thing can be said about the BHP if you are buying used. I have owned 5 or 7 BHPs in the past 4 years. I have never paid more then $600 for one before. And that was a gun which had been fully customized by Don at action works.
Again like I stated in another thread.
This gun was completely customized for less than $1100 including the cost of the base gun.
The work included novak nights, C&S hammer, sear, commander hammer, Wide trigger, extended slide, spegel grips and trigger job by a master gun smith.
Care to talk about the trigger camming?

Oh boy, I am going to get some popcorn. You can find CZ 75's and its clones for less then $400 all the time.
I have nothing agains the HP, I just the CZ 75 is more refined and a better value.
Oh boy, I am going to get some popcorn.
Or the EAA Witness Match for 500ish. That said, saying it is more refined than a BHP is going to rile folks up.I am not trying to be controversial.
But I was limited to $900 dollars total spending to buy a NEW steel framed 9mm.
I could have a new BHP complete with hammer bite.
Or a CZ75bSA from the custom shop with better custom trigger, extend mag release, and better fiber optic target sights for the same amount of money.
JMO.
Or even pick EEA witness limited

I handled one of those and they are ginormous. Awesome gun for the range though. If you are looking for a range only toy look at the Witness. They are big in the hand IMHO and would not carry on but as a range toy they are pretty slick and are cheap compared to other SA only guns.

The EEA triggers I have tried on the Elite Match pistols are very good. I did not notice camming the way I feel on most CZs. I think that they are somewhat underrated in the market place
