Looking for advice on a .22 auto

I suggest going with the Ruger. Go to the gun store and feel both models, preferred grip angle is very subjective.

I had a P22 and after a good break in with CCI's it was fairly reliable. But it was not accurate at all. Shooting side by side with my friends Ruger was shameful. The Ruger was more reliable and way way more accurate. I got rid of the P22 and have never looked back.

Get a CZ 75 series pistol and the conversion kit. You'll get a fine 9mm/40 AND one of the best all around 22s you'll ever shoot.

I LOVE my MKIII Hunter. It is easily the most accurate handgun I own.

I originally bought it because of the ammunition prices thinking that I would have to suffer through shooting it. Got it (barely) used for $315.00 when new ones are way more.

And there is no suffering shooting the thing. I love it. It's such a quality piece.

Re: the .22 conversion for CZ 75, I don't think I can afford to buy a CZ 75 and the Kadet conversion.

If the conversion worked on my CZ 40B I would buy it :D

I have three Ruger Mark IIIs, all in full stainless:

Mark III Competition 6 7/8" slab side barrel with Simmons 4x Scope
Mark III Hunter 6 7/8" fluted barrel with Hi-Viz sight
Mark III Target 5 1/2" bull barrel with Ultradot 30

Each has its merits and I don't have to switch sights.

I also have .22 stainless revolvers:

S&W 617 4" .22 double action revolver
Ruger Super Single Six .22 /.22WMR single action revolver
