that's pretty much it. well, no, it's not. i was looking for an affordable one. i know DanWesson, Les Baer, SIG Sauer, Kimber, and a few other companies made their own versions of the Colt CCO. i'm looking for the most affordable version. when i say affordable, that pretty much discounts Les Baer, LOL. i was looking at the SIG C3, but i'm not a fan of aluminum frames much. any ideas?

Look at the SIG Traditional 1911 Compact. It's CCO size, stainless steel, night sights, etc, a lot of gun for the money.

Look at the Sig 1911 C3. It is a true commander length barrel with a true officers frame. Steel slide and aluminum frame. VERY pretty (especially the grips). You should be able to find them somewhere between 900-1000 with night sights. They also have a model that is full steel but the C3 would be great from CCW. I've owned one for a while and it is an awesome shooter. Highly recommended. All the others are, IMHO, over priced for similar craftsmanship.
