I want to buy and older model Armi San Marco 1858 Remington "Buffalo" style reproduction. This is the bras frame version w/ a 12" barrel & target sites. Problem is that they guy admits the thing needs new nipples, and I am not fond of the idea of having to look for them, or play a trial and error game. Anyone know what I would actually need or where to find them?

Probably M6X.75 thread, same as Pietta. Try Track of the Wolf, or the Possibles Shop. Get Reso or Ampco nipples, use Remington # 10 caps.
