Do they make sloping scope bases for Mausers in a lower profile than Ken Farrell's?

This one seems little lower, but is it really?

And are these the lowest scope rings out there?

Ebay cheap mounts

Is their quality as low as their price?

There is this guy on another forum who has made a rifle with all the parts I'm planning on, but he says the scope is too high. So I'm trying to find a way to get it lower - any advice available here? (M98 in a Richards stock)

Ken Farrell scope base
TPS rings
Burris Black Diamond 6-24x50

He used TPS scope rings so even their low ones seem a little tall.

Just use the standard weaver 2 piece mounts. I belive they are the lowest. For rings, don't buy the cheap crap. Get a set of Leupold vertical split rings from Wal-Mart or online for about $16. I use them exlusively and they never fail.
