M1A Scout Scope options?

Just setting up the new scout rifle and am at a loss as to where I need to go with this one. Found extended mounts for a few hundred and some for 150. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. (Mounts and Scopes)

What kind of budget are you looking at? There are some great options out there, but we don't need to be suggesting Aim points when you simply can't break $200, or vice versa.

are you looking for a 1x red dot style?
or a 2-4x pistol scope style?

JIC you may decide on a conventional scope/mount setup rather than a Scout configuration, be sure to checkout the Bassett mounts at http://www.bassettmachine.com/

Last month I completed building what will be my final "M14" (on a Fulton Armory receiver that I have had in the safe for several years) and ordered one of their low mounts for slightly over 100 bucks, delivered.

I am very impressed with this product.

Thanks for all the help. Fortunately I don't have budget problems but do need all the magnification I can get (older eyes)
