Stupid question but I felt the need to ask it. How fast will a magazine lose it's reliability if you keep it loaded 24/7? Is it actually true that not loading the mag to it's full capacity decreases spring wear(14 instead of 15)?

Not really, but just a repetitive ??that surfaces every week or so. In fact, I know the replies by heart...
So, I will pass on this one.:) I changed my mind....Your 2nd sentence is not true....

No need for the grief, everyone seems to preach the search feature. Yet, it's never displayed the information I'm looking for within the first twenty pages. I've been here for quite awhile (on two accounts) and I haven't seen this question asked..

I'm also going to assume that you meant my second question, there was no second statement. However, my first question has still gone unanswered.

Springs wear out from cycling them.

They take a set the first few times they are fully compressed, and then stay that way unless you cycle them by using them.

You can leave your mags loaded indefinitely without hurting the springs.

Download double-stack hi-caps by one round if it makes you feel better.
Many of them are over-compressed when fully loaded anyway.
