I recently found a used Bulgarian Makarov, and I am realy pleased with it to the point of using it for my ccw. It just points right & I shot it well the first time at the range. I will do a couple more sessions with it before it takes up space in my ccw line. It would be great to see some pics of yours & what or how you carry it. I just need to find some more at good prices! Thanks.

Here are my 3 Maks.

East German, Bulgarian and Russian military

I sometimes carry the Bulgie in a thin suede IWB holster made for a PPK.

Nice pics so far but, there has got to be more. Thirties , that pic just made milk shoot out my nose! I have to start going to Gun Shows because there are none of these Mak's around here. I THINK that I want MORE! I have not felt this way since I got my first S&W!!!

Maks are nice guns and can become addictive with all the different variants. I used to also have a Chinese commercial, but recently sold it. All my Maks have functioned 100%.

Now that's a nice collection, M2!

Hello.

A factory EG Makarov...

This one started out as a NIB Bulgarian to which I added the "Beast" conversion slide that used to be available via makarov.com.

Both of these have proven to be most reliable and fun to shoot.

Best.

I have four Makarovs, two Russians and two Bulgarians

And I can't find a pic of my other Russian :scrutiny:

WoW! M2 Carbine , that's quite a large family you got there. (Work calls, I will check in later).

Come on , there has to be more mak pictures out there, how about with the carry mode, grips & other custom add ons? Good replies so far but I thought the Mak was a cult thing? They are going up in price but how about you guys that got them real cheap? Can you tell that I really like this gun?

This is a close up of the Bulgarian 22 conversion.
The conversion is well made but it looks like they used old scrap metal for the magazines.
