I have an older Marling 822 .22mag rifle which was the 3/8" groove for mounting a scope. The bolt handle is also not bevelled like the newer models. Using the standard groove scope rings I don't get enough clearance to remove the bolt for cleaning, unless I remove the scope.

Cabela's has a set of "high" .22 rings, does any have them or know if they provided enough clearance? The picture shown is of their standard height, not the high one, I think.

Tasco also has a set of "Quick Peep" .22 rings which look a little bit higher than the Cabela ones.

My other option is to use the Kwik-Site adapter base and a set of Weaver high rings.

kwik sites are the way to go here, plus they will absolutely stop the monstrous 'scope walk', that marlins like to try and do.
