I have recently been reviving a rough marlin model 60 and I am kinda new to this so I have a question. It is not ejecting properly, when I got to looking at it I noticed that when the shell is coming back to eject the bottom of the case rim catches on something and the shell just falls in the chamber. Any help on what I should do to get this going would be appreciated.

There is a piece of 'wire' along the bottom of the bolt. That is your ejector that flips the shell out of the receiver. May be that it needs replacing. I also replaced the extractor and springs when I resurected the Model 60's my grandkids have. Brownells has a schematic to find the parts you need.

Also, clean it up with some spray blaster type of cleaner because it operates on blowback and tends to get really dirty after a while.
