I disassembled my Marlin Model 60 rifle for cleaning, everything was in working order. However, when I was disassembling it, the hammer spring popped off. I attempted to put it back together. However, I misplaced the spring, and I cannot remove it due to the hammer strut bridge blocking access. It is stuck in place. #28 is the hammer spring on the Model 60, however the strut bridge is not shown.
I would appreciate anyone's help, it is probably an easy fix but not easy enough for me. Thanks.
