OK, there seemed to be some interest in a MD shoot the end of Jan (see thread here ). That means we have to pick a day. I figured that instead of trying to keep track of a dozen different individual posts cluttering up the same thread where people say they'll be there, the easiest and fairest way would be to take advantage of the poll function. Also, this way people won't have to wade halfway through that thread to find the date (it will be whatever we pick here).
Anyway, I'm thinking either the last or second to last Sunday of Jan. Contenential Arms in Timonium is open to 5 or 6pm on Sun (I think it is 6PM). For those who are churchgoers or who have family time on Sun that does give time to make it a little later so you can go to services or spend time with your families, go shooting in the late afternoon and have a few hours before they close, and you can still have time to get home for dinner (hey, those who need help convincing the family, I figure I may as well make it as easy as possible for you
). Anyway, I figure if we get there at around 2:30PM that gives 2.5-3.5 hours of shooting before they close, and if we leave at 5 or 6 you still may make it home in time for dinner (though maybe a later than usual dinner for some).
Just vote in the poll so we can figure out if it should be Sunday, January 18, or Sunday the 25th. I also have an option for either of those Saturdays, though I can tell you now that I can't be at any Sat shoot. However, if that would mean more people can make it, I shouldn't stand in the way of the most people who can make it being there.
