I am a lucky person(PC)
My dear wife bought me a pietta 1860 but one big catch!
Can not fire it till Christmas:)

Sweet.

If you can't shoot it can you at least fondle it? Or does it have to go under the tree? :)

Either way, a nice gift.
And you've got a wife that enables you in your hobby. Can't beat that.

the wife is really being unreasonable about this, have to wait till the 25th fortunately I have a nice Walker and a new army to satisfy the need to make smoke. She still trying to figure out why I need more than one, i said "you have more than one pair of shoes" but that logic did not get me to far

Very nice!

Mine doesn't understand the need for many either. She got me two guns two different Christmases. She told me I can't get a new gun every year like that! I tried a ClassicBallistix cyclinder this year and she almost fell for it. But a wort chiller likely won out as it will keep a bunch of water jugs out of the spare fridge. Oh well. A wort chiller will be awesome too!

Wow, your wife is such a tease. jk, she's a keeper.

Enjoy shooting it on a chilly Christmas New Hampshire day, Doug.

Well, I opened my Xmas present from my FIL/MIL early and, lo and behold, a couple of C-notes were in the card! I must have been extra-nice to them during their visit here in the boontoolies this past summer.

Still waiting for Cabela's to put the Pietta G&G on sale, but if not I'll bite the bullet (pun intended) and buy it full price at $220 (I just have got to have that barrel).

Then I need a wood presentation case for two 1851 Navies to house the Pietta G&G and a Pietta 1851 Navy 2nd Model squareback. Maybe Hampel's or maybe Bill's. We'll see.

If it all comes to fruition, I post pics for you folks.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Jim

Patience my friend, patience. The anticipation leading up to Christmas Day is more than worth the wait.

Thirty three years of shooting everything from a Model 29. Super Redhawk .454, to Glocks and small bores and pocket guns of various origins the 1860 is my favorite gun to keep handy. Enjoy.

Merry Christmas to me as well. My weakside Ruger Old Army showed up today. Now a set of Hastings holsters to carry her and mr. strongside and I'm good to go.
