MI GOP Leader Wants to BAN Ron Paul from Debates

What exactly is it you're trying to present with your democraticunderground link? What "false pretenses"? If you think I support his ideology due to the poll then you're highly misguided. I like the ideals presented by the Anti-Federalist faction of our Founding Fathers and expressed in the final draft of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Ron best emulates this. Therefore, I'd like to have him elected.

There's alot of people out there who are convinced by the media that there are two (and only two) "sides" to every "issue" and that the other half on the other "side" are completely stupid while your half is completely right. And that these two "sides" take opposing stances on every single "issue".

Alot of people believe this! Sadly, a good portion who become politically active actually believe this as well!

I've always thought politics was simply childish, or the product of small minds. However, as I approach my 30's, I'm more and more convinced everyday that mainstream politics and brain damage are synonymous.

When confirmed whackjobs are your "amen corner" and drawn from the ostensible opposition to boot, could it be that one's message is addressed to the wrong audience?

Nah. Conspiracy theorists tend to hang together and think of the rest of the world as crazy.
 
I read the DU thread. There was one mention of Paul's opposition to nation building, and other than that, there were many mentions of his opposition to taxes, the UN, and big government in general, along with an unmet challenge by one DU member for anyone on the site to say they would actually vote for Paul.

That's an "amen corner"? Looks to me like they are voting for the very last one they would actually want in office. One actually said he would prefer Giuliani, which makes sense, given Rudy's affection for big government and dislike of guns.

Seems like if anything, the DU contains the Rudy "amen corner" and not the Ron Paul one. Maybe Rudy should run as a Dem with the other gun grabbers.

I don't have his name at my desk, but we spoke this morning. Quite a few other people have gotten the same response. That said, it has been suggested that we continue gathering signatures on the petition and contacting both the RNC and Michigan GOP until Saul Anuzis publicly apologizes, and agrees not to interfere in other ways.
 
I just got off the phone with Diana the receptionist and she told me that Saul is no longer pursuing a petition to bar Ron Paul from GOP debates. Good idea to get a public apology. The more publicity the better. Man...I love America!

Does your mind go any higher than trying to lump people together in groups? I hope so.
I've not seen much else from you, so this is obviously pointless.
 
Groups? Groups like the sheeple? Groups like the brain damaged? Groups like those who "don't want freedom." Those groups who, if they don't back Dr. Paul, "can't handle the truth?"

Groups like that?

Please, lecture me some more on that topic.
 
This is typical of the controlling elite in all countries. In some countries they kill the dissenters, or lock them away never to be heard from again. In this country they bar them from public exposure so the masses can only vote for the chosen candidates of the elites. America is no longer a Republic, it is a Plutocracy.
