Had a bad experience with Wideners over this same stuff this month. Will give more details when I finally get them on the phone this morning.
Edited:
Backordered items listed as in stock on website, took five days to process order (granted, some of that was the weekend, but it sure wasn't done first thing Monday morning), was going to get dinged on a second set of shipping charges, no communication re backordered item via email, or when I spoke to the person on the phone after it was processed, and before it was shipped, the person on the phone didn't even know how to read their OWN INVOICES, the overall tone in the calls was either making excuses or just being downright rude, and in three phone calls, I never once heard the word sorry, even after I said I'd like an apology. I swear, I've had better customer service in third world/communist countries, and have never had a problem like this with any other vendor in this industry. And I still don't have the dies I need two weeks later. To their credit they refunded part of the shipping charge, but it was like a trip to the dentist (pulling teeth) to get that, and no apology. I've rarely, if ever, seen an American company in the reloading supply industry that showed such obvious contempt for their customers.
Midway has never given me any trouble, though their prices aren't as cheap as some. Grafs has been fantastic except that things are frequently out of stock and they sell our info to spammers/bulk mailers. Hell, even Powder Valley was faster on their shipment for our group buy (over 200 lbs of hazmat goodnes, with discounts thrown in).
