1. Cpl. USMC 1964-1970 RVN 65-66/ CW3 USAR & FLARNG Active Duty 18th. FA Persian Gulf 90/91
2.Armament Repair Tech. M198 & Small Arms.
3. Carried the M-9 only complaint has no stopping power other than that never a jam.
4. Carried a M-14 in Nam a very good weapon. M16A2 Persian Gulf W/55 Gr. Ammo.
5. 1911A1 also right up there.
6. Taught Marksmanship on the following, M-14,M16A1 &2, M203,M-9,MaDuce & M60. M2 was a great weapon, been around since WW1.
7. Need to get out of Afghanistan, not worth one american life.

USN (submarines)
1983-2003 Never saw combat
Never issued any weapons. Qualified on M14, M16, 92F, 1911 and Remington pump 12 gauge as part of submarine security force.

Firearms training for submarine force personnel was (and still is I think) pathetic. I hardly learned a thing about firearms from the Navy. Amost everything I learned about firearms has been from using my private collection, reading and from other shooters. I load ammo, perform minor gunsmithing and make my own silencers.
