Does anyone have any experience with Millett scopes? Can anyone say one way or the other if they're a decent scope for the cash?

The warrenty looks good - lifetime, like Leupold. The prices seem fair too. I just wonder about quality. I am looking for the 6-24x50mm for my .204 and it's under $300.

Any thoughts?

I ordered the largest ( 30mm tube 6x25?) two years ago for that price, I sent it back. Nothing wrong with it, I just thought it seemed big and heavy, the optics weren't great, and the adjustments were mushy. I have a lot of scopes and right now I would say the Nikon Buckmaster side focus for the same money is a better deal. I have one on a Mini 14 and the double recoil hasn't been a problem, very clear, repeatable, and easy to adjust for parallax.

I'm on my third Millet Buck Lightening. They have quite faithfully followed thier warranty, but I'm tired of screwing around with 'em. Buy a Burris or a Leupold. That's my next choice.
