Apparently the First Amendment is as difficult for the Millon Mom Marchers as the Second Amendment. They refused to allow their meeting to be taped about how they are going to ban guns that was held at a public library in Fairfax County last night and was required to be open to the public. Some taping did occur before they decided to end the meeting so their friend and guest speaker Bob Ricker didn't have to go on record. Bob is a former NRA lobyist now gun control advocate. Watch the tapes for yourselves:

Smurf - not very high road. Remember, we're supposed to set an example here. Not the worst you could have said, but considering the post is focusing on their lack of verbal decorum, let's not sink to anywhere close to their level.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I happen to generally agree with Smurf - However, this IS the high road. It seems like lately there's been a lot more sniping back and forth about various groups, or opinions and less care given to maintaining the proper tone.

Not trying to scold, just an observation.

Woman on camera - "I came here to get information and your actions prevented that from happening".

Bit of irony there since the information received is that apparently that MMM group doesn't like having any record of what they say.

Sheesh, quite a contrast to the VCDL meetings where people are video taping and recording all the time.

Very obvious that they( the MMM org) doesn't want any record made of their statements re their desire to totally ban gun ownership. If they are so sincere in their beliefs, why do they seem to be so fearful of having their meeting recorded for the world to see? Could it be that they are hiding something?

Man another thing i wish i could get...

stupid internet bein all slow Grrrr... lol

-1 for the MMM... 2nd and now the 1st? tisk tisk tisk...

I would advise against labeling all MMMers because of a few of them. Would you like to label all gun owners based on the actions of a few, such as the VT killer, the Columbine Killers, or other gunowners who are bad people.

lol why would he need to manipulate what they said? They don't need help to look ridiculous. :D

I do think the guy is too non-confrontational in the first vid (haven't watched the others yet). He should have said his problem with them is that they lie and spout misinformation and let the woman try to defend it.

Just to be sure, this kind of crap doesn't go on at NRA or other gun-rights organization meetings does it? Because that would be just as ridiculous as this BS (based on the hatchet-jobs in bowling for columbine, I'd guess the answer is no).

Tecumseh, no biggie, they already judge us that way. Frankly, we try to be "high road" at occaisions where doing so costs us. It's nice to have the high ground, but if you lose because you don't get down and dirty when you need to, you still lose.

Gee, it's just too sad that that Mother .... couldn't hold a closed meeting in a public place. Laws shouldn't apply to these people, since they are better than us members of the great unwashed.

WOW, thats all it takes to shut down a public meeting of activists that are so convicted in their beliefs to take away the rights of millions? And that anyone who wants to attend must sign a waiver to keep the public meeting from being, well public. I can only guess at the "facts" that they are so afraid of getting out, and the fear that people may seek to verify them. At every NRA meeting I attend there are people who are appointed to video tape the whole thing to share with any and all who are interested, and the speakers personally stand behind their message. Makes you wonder about a half dozen people, seemingly with everything to hide calling themselves The Million Mom March.

keep up the good work nakedshoplifter, If you belive in something stand behind it, If you seek to impose your beliefs on everyone, everyone should know. Apparently to shut down the antis all we have to do is politely stand in the corner and threaten to tell the world what they say.

oh and good to know that if I claim to know about something and someone else doesn't I am therfore an expert and my information is credible:evil:

What's good for the goose...

:scrutiny::scrutiny::scrutiny:

This has been happening to us since the 70's and it's my generation that's been paying price for it. Now, thanks to a few of us, we get to see what these so called adults are really like.

Tough cookies for them. If you think it's not THR, then we can agree to disagree. Frankly, I think it's time they got a dose of their own medicine, and a lot of it.

GOD LOVE Youtube, Opencarry.org's Nakedshoplifter, and the whole crew who exposed these vermin.

It's long past time we show these people for the lying, scheming, backstabbing shrews they are. They run from the light just like cockroaches because they know their lies won't stand up to scrutiny.

That woman is so full of it it's not even funny. Typical moonbat with circular logic. She couldn't carry an argument in a bucket if her life depended on it. LOL.

There is a reason for that, I want to be the respectable party in the discussion. Since I had her speaking on camera, I was more than happy to let her blabber away for more material to post on Youtube. I don't think she knew that I still had the camera rolling, although she indeed knew her supporters were filming the verbal exchange.

Since I was being filmed as well, I did not want to give THEIR (MMM) camera person ammunition to use against our cause.

I agree that you can't extrapolate what kind of person belongs to MMM based on a small sample. But as there is a hierarchy of evils, some logical sins are worse than others. Having a pair of Nikes means that, in and of itself, you have a pair of Nikes. No more. It doesn't come with a membership card. The same is not true when you join a group like MMM.

That lady needs to find something better to do with her time. Seriously. I think she needs a hobby (I would suggest shooting). She also shouldn't engage in a battle of wits with such a limited supply of ammunition.

Nakedshoplifter,

Good on ya for not caving into the pressure to sign their non-disclosure agreement(?).

Makes me wonder what the cop would have said during his speech when the host (the woman in the green shirt) explained that "both speakers were uncomfortable" and cancelled the meeting.

The cop was comfortable speaking in front of people in a public place -- he was comfortable being filmed and recorded in this public place; and yet he was uncomfortable being filmed and recorded by someone who didn't sign a non-disclosure form in that very same public place?

Interesting.

Makes me want to go to one of these MMM meetings myself in my area and do the same thing.

Welcome to THR nakedshoplifter, We have the brady's, the MMM, ceasefire MD and a bunch of other freedom smashing constitution shredding groups around here. I have run into them at meetings, gun show protests, and in DC and Annapolis when various gun bills have been debated on, and have to say they are the rudest, most close minded and reactionary people I have ever met in my life. Good work in exposing them for all to see.
