Every person who elects to carry a firearm for self defense must juggle size, capacity, ease of use and personal comfort when deciding what to carry. Keeping this compromise in mind, when you picked your CCW what capacity did you deem acceptable for the weapon itself?
Acceptable meaning the minimum that you were willing to carry.
The weapon itself meaning the amount of ammo the weapon will contain when carried concealed without being reloaded.
What was your reasoning?
A Glock 19 has a capacity of 15+1 and a SP101 has 5 with many other popular CCWs having every thing in between. Where do you draw the line? What is your comfort level?
Keep in mind that we are only discussing the capacity of the weapon itself and not the total amount of ammo carried.
