Misfire reloads

the only problem i've had as a new reloader and i've already loaded several thousand. all my 40's shoot fine except for one or two light primer strikes (CCI primers). I went with winchester now because it's more readily available. this is a brand new gun (m92fs) so don't know what to call it. Also tried some of my reloads for 380 in my cousins new pk380. a few jams but again it's a brand new gun and requires break in... some of the shooters are not familiar with semi autos and tend to assist the slide instead of letting the slide go.

You know, my son had a problem with mis-fires in his 92FS one time, also with CCI's. But my 92FS has never had any problems, but he also said it quit doing it after reevaluating his priming depths, so...

Ljnowell, thanks for the clarification, that's actually what I was implying, crushing them, which is what happens when they are seated too deep. I guess I should have termed that differently.

I figured that's what you meant. I just mentioned it because there may be a newcomer that doesn't know what us older farts do.

Very good point, and thanks again for the clarification on that Ljnowell! Sometimes I forget that new comers may misinterpret what us "old guys" are referring to.
