Missouri bullet company ...

I have been trying to call the local number but keep getting voice mail. I will keep trying till I head home in about 30......then one more time before I turn onto my road. If I get them that close to home I will hit them up tomorrow if they are open.

I will update when I find out whats up.

Okay want to settle this before it gets too far!! This is the managers of Missouri Bullet. We want to thank all of you for your concern! However no one here has ever said anything about closing to anyone! We are currently behind in orders due to issues getting parts for our casters and personnel here to run them as anyone else in any business has had to deal with since the pandemic! The founder, Brad, did pass away in October of 2020 and his wife unfortunately joined him this year in March. The company is under new ownership with the same management team that has been here for years now. The company will remain in business for as long as the government will allow us! Again thank you for your concern and kind words we do apologize for being behind, we are trying to get caught up quickly as possible with the same quality standards as always!! Hope this puts some fears to rest. Please feel free to keep the orders coming!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

I called this morning and got a nice lady right away. She found my order and said the last parts of it would be cast next week. I told her about this thread and found out everything was new to her. She explained the situation on parts.

Seems like there was a bit of miscommunication going on here. Glad we got the word from MBC themselves and everything is moving forward in a positive direction. Looking forward to my bullets arriving and trying out some new loads. Happy Holidays to all.
 
Well, one good thing this thread did is get me to get off my butt and order some bullets for the Mosins and Mausers. I’ve been procrastinating because I don’t shoot them that often anymore. Then again, I don't shoot them that often anymore so I haven’t needed ammo. Time to fix both situations. :)
 
Amazing thread. On page one, someones cousin said they talked to the owner who said they have no orders, are laying off employees, and may go under.

On page three, the actual management of the company shows up to put out this dumpster fire by saying none of that is true.

Thank goodness MBC saw the thread, who knows what calamity would have befallen them by page 6. :)

Good company, love their product, and I'm glad they are getting after it.
 
If they’re not in trouble that’s good. At least I have some more bullets to try in the way, and primers and powder to go with them.

What do I do with the 50000 coated 45s I bought this AM?

As @vlady has indicated in the post above, unfortunately Jo Ann died this year in March - RIP.

We will allow the "vlady" account to continue to represent MBC here at THR. But, keep in mind that the company is, indeed, under new management. I trust they will keep us informed of the progress they are making in getting back up to speed.

It doesn’t really matter. The order I placed was something I had been meaning to try anyway. And I did use the 5% code, so there! Seriously, not a problem.
