mixed casings

Me and a friend have boxes of 9mm reloads we have done. We both have a S&W Sigma's. If we seperate the bullets by brand stamped on the cases they function perfectly. If we just grab a mix to load up we get constant FTF/FTE. This only occures in the Sigmas. The Beretta and Glock eat them up mixed or not. The differance in the guns is the ejection ports.Any ideas as to why?

I do not have a Glock or a Sigma, but my horrid mix of 9MM range brass functions in all the 9MM guns I do have.

Is it possible one of them is leaving a burr on the case rim and if it goes back to that gun it won't FTF or FTE?

Otherwise, ???

I load my 9mm totally randomly, don't sort in any way shape or form- all my 9mm goes in a 5-gal bucket and I grab a handful when I want to load some.
