I don't have first hand experience with them but I did a ton of research on them when I was looking to do my first mild build. Not much bad to be said about them. Not really a match grade upper but not near a match grade price. They seem to shoot accurate enough for most people and tend to run as reliably as they are maintained. If they fit your price point then I wouldn't feel bad spending my money on one.
From what I have heard, they are great. My dad bought two a few years back and they seem to be of great quality. Just get ready for the 22-26 week wait for your build. What type of upper are you planning on getting?
My brother in law got a complete 16" upper from them. Looked decent a few years back but when he took it out he couldn't get through a single mag without 4 or 5 jams. He also said something about the charging handle being "a piece of $*&#."
I figured he must have just had a bad experience, so I ordered a stripped upper in which I was going to throw in a CMT bolt and BCM charging handle. It looked great when it arrived only I noticed that it had rifle extentions and M4 feedramps which is a big NO NO in a AR15. I contacted them, they told me to ship it back but they wouldn't pay for shipping, so I sent it back (including a letter stating the problem) and got what I believed to be a new upper in the mail only to find out I was wrong. Some dumby nicked the receiver in the process of filing down the barrel extentions to match the M4 ramps. I didn't know what to do at this point but vow to never order from them again. Take your chances, I did even though my brother advised against it. I guess he was right.
I've bought a 24" Varmint Upper and a 7.62x39 Upper from them and both have performed well. In truth, I did replace their 7.62x39 bolt with one from MGI, to improve reliability with steel cased ammo. Now I find myself considering one of their 5.45x39 Uppers.
