What's this about blazing hot summers in Montana? Ever been to East Texas during the summer?
Now if you are talking the eastern part of the state... Well, yeah, that is hell on earth. From Livingston, to Billings to Miles City to Wibaux, you have lots of wind, lots of cold, lots of driving to get to a town.
...
When you get away from the towns like Bozeman, overrun by hippies and art dealers, you find the real men and women of Montana.
...
Those places exist still in Montana, but you have to leave my old hometown now and head east... into the plains.
Yanno, I don't care if it is dry as dry can be 40 below zero still sounds mighty friggin cold lol
ANDYep And you can expect Idaho, Wyoming & possibly part of Utah to side with MT if that happened.
And I imagine a sizeable portion of the population of states like ND, SD, and NE.
PASSED THE HOUSE!
Amazing Does anybody know what the odds are that it will get passed by the Senate and then finally passed by the governor?
That is about what I figured. Perhaps depending on if it sails through as it seems to be doing they will later make a serate bill or ammendment or something to add them as well?HB 420 (Koopman) was also heard. This would allow Montana-made firearms to
avoid federal regulation. Committee members asked why machine guns and
"destructive devices" such as guns with bores larger than 1.5" were omitted.
The sponsor replied that he personally thinks the Second Amendment applies to
these firearms as well, but he left them out of the bill to attract more
legislators. He said if the committee wants to add them back in as permitted
firearms to be manufactured in Montana he would have no problem with that.
