I used to get pretty pissed at Moore and his antics. But then I realized something, he has such a limited fanbase. Only the most extreme leftist, would take everything he's said as gospel. His mock-u-mentory didn't even generate a heartbeat here in San Diego, and the people that went to see it, most likely do not vote anyway.
"They can b!tch, whine, and moan about how violent something is, stage rallies and protests, but can't lift a pen to paper and write their elected officials. They talk about wanting change and passing bans, but they can't drag their lazy a$ses to the polls to try and make a difference."
The way I see it now after giving it thought, is that by making a really big stink about Moore we get some people interested in wanting to see what the controversy is about. Then they go and rent or buy a ticket to see his movie. It's just giving him a few more dollars to spend at Burger King. There are plenty of forum lurkers, Hell I didn't even know about BFC until someone at another forum brought it up. Hopefully he chokes on that fat marbled meal, and that his legacy and views get quietly swept under the rug.
