Most accurate out the box rifle, under $1000

For me, the two most accurate out of the box that I have WITH FACTORY AMMO are a Tikka T3 (synthetic stock) and a T/C Icon (wood stock), both in 243 Win. I got the Tikka since the wood on the T/C was just too pretty to be knocked around in the pickup. The actions of these two are very similar (as is the Ruger American).

The most accurate with handloads and a little work on the stock (free floated the barrel) is a Remington Model 7 7mm-08 with a fiberglass kevlar stock, 18 1/2" barrel with iron sights that is really light, and a Burris 2-7 Fullfield.

I bought my sone a Weatherby Vanguard Sub MOA model a few years ago, and it is an awesome rifle right out of the box.
