After moving into a smaller house and downsizing everything , I had to get a new desk. The harbor freight workbench was the perfect size for my room but I needed a strong mount for my Dillon 550. Unfortunately none of my local retailers had one in stock. While sitting in my garage sulking I found a piece of stainless steel sheet metal my brother had left behind. A couple of hours later I finished my DIY strong mount. With the HF desk screwed to the wall and the floor my press is rock solid. I celebrated by replenishing my stock of .44mag. :D
The flat black paint covered up most of the ugly. The funny part is my apparent lack of planning. Its 1/2" too short. The handle nut hit the table. Now it sits on a little pine board for added height! Its not an art project, but its solid enough to stand on! Now for the bullet tray and maybe an LED light kit!!

Finally a "strong" strong mount!

That should be a lot better than two "z'ed" sheet metal brackets.

Good job.

Its not an addiction, I swear. but it did cure my sulking. And I found 250 more reasons to go shooting again tomorrow! Somehow living in Reno has made me want to pull the handle of all these slot machines.. This one pays off every time in 44mag
