Well, I had to pop into my FFL today to transfer some AR receivers. They are a home based FFL with more inventory than some gun stores have and they are just great folks to deal with. I am talking about www.sportingarms.com which is in Lewisville, TX.

Anyway, I have been thinking that I REALLY need to get a 1911 (or 5, lol:D ) in my stable. Its just not right to be an American and not have a 1911...right.

Well, I was looking at some Springfields and had my mind sent on a Basic Champion Light Weight and then I asked about Kimbers....she keeps a great inventory of Kimbers. So....I picked up a NIB Kimber Custom 25th Anniversary gun. Its BRAND NEW, but its 3 years old.....It has some NICE grips with the 25th logo on them and she even through in a set of regular Kimber double diamond grips. Seems she complained to Kimber about being "stuck" with these guns for so long that they sent her a few sets of grips for free to include as an inventive to the buyer.

So...for your viewing pleasure...

You really don't want that old fashioned Kimber do you? Send it to me, and I'll send you a fresh updated version with a firing pin safety and a modern extractor. I wouldn't want you to be embarrassed in front of your shootin' buddies..............

Innova...yes, they have a few more actually.

I suspect they wont last long since I have told everyone I know about this deal today, lol.

Man I cant keep my digits off this thing! The terrible thing is that I cant get to the range for at least a week and a half....I will be at SHOT next week and have no time in between then....ITS KILLING ME

The frame to slide match is SUPER tight. Its going to need a LOT of break in time I am sure.

I may need to call them and see if they would ship to Ohio. Any chance you could give me an idea of what you paid? If not no big deal.
