That is with my new Savage MK11BV 22 rifle. He was on a 'dead' run left to right when I got him on the first shot. Heck, he must have been 20 yards out. Now maybe my cats food will last a little longer.

Very nice shooting. The BV is an excellent rifle. Definitely a shooter, and i liked the look and durability of the laminate stock among other things. For some reason that I could not figure out, mine had a finicky mag(s) that would cause a round to stick on occasion. From what I've read it's not uncommon on this model. Still, it was a great firearm and I hated to part with it, but tuff financial times left me no choice. Congrats on a great acquisition and wasting no time on blooding her!

Remember the age old rule- if you're gonna kill it, you have to eat it
Well I thought it was a black and white chicken when I shot it. Now I dont think it is so I'm gonna pass on the 'eating what you shot'. It sure dont smell like the chickens I'm used to smelling. :)

THe buzzards will love em , only bones and scraps for the red ants and worms.
