My Gunfight - "Thinking Outside Your Box"

Lol...

I was just being playful when I had said that in my imaginary gunfights I only rarely prevail.

This because, I had noticed with my own imaginings, that I could prevail fantastically...so, I stopped indulging that, and, instead, prefered to imagine really worst scenarios of sudden events I was in a bad position to respond to, things happenning too fast and me not believing it was really happenning, me with a J-Frame, five BGs with misc arms and they having some concealment, as I was seeking some...on and on, imaging tough and not-ideal conditions.

What got me onto that I think, was one day in a 7-11, where five inner city black guys all maybe early 20s, none small people, guys were being really weird, lots of high energy dark shared glances, faces flashing with too much emotion, and anyway, at one point, they were trying to hype themselves up into violence, screaming and cursing at a clerk, very agitated over absolutely nothing but their own jive, it all felt horid...I had backed way up and found semi concealment, and I thought they were working on enableing themselves to get into a shooting spree, a couple moments around that point, some of them had been making stances as if about to reach for a waist band kept Gun, baggy shirts and so on, arm-movements which suggested it as a possibility, and, I thought "This is not so good...not so ideal..."

Lol...

And I was right. It was not so ideal.

"If" they or some of them had pulled Guns and started shooting the Clerk or some of the few others who were pretty well all backed off a ways...what would I have done?

I had some intentions layed out in my mind, who I would go for first ( based on conduct aggression and agility so far seen...I thought I may as well begin at-the-top, so to speak) but, I did not feel confident in considering the prospects.

So...that impressed me...and while I still imagine favorable situations, I also imagine unfavorable ones.

In replaying the 7-11 one anyway, I only rarely prevail...

I would have felt SO much better if I had been carrying my Colt 1911.

Just imagining that instead of the J-Frame, everything instantly feels a lot better...in my imagination anyway.

I am a much better shot for point shooting with it, and, it has of course, more rounds...and, more whump.

It looks as if the 'Three Page Rule' has come into play here, so I'm closing the curtain on this one...
