A female member of the drive-by media interviewed a Marine sniper in Iraq. She asked him, "What did you feel when you shot that insurgent?"

The Marine looked at her a moment and answered, "Recoil, Maam."----CaCruiser

[not] To play devil's advocate, but what if those Iraqis weren't even snipers, but having a BBQ and throwing back some beers on their rooftop. With the strict curfew in conflict areas, and the popularity of BBQs (for some, the only way to cook their food), people conceivably resort to their rooftops for this purpose.

During a large-scale attack on Easter Sunday, Wilson says, he spotted six gunmen on a rooftop about 400 yards away. In about 8 seconds he squeezed off five rounds — hitting five gunmen in the head. The sixth man dived off a 3-story building just as Wilson got him in his sights, and counts as a probable death.

It is a matter of fact that our forces over there are highly racist, which is why they signed up in the first place.

I also know of a marine who came home 3 months ago, attempting to sue the US for forcing him to kill civilians.
