Some might remember that I posted three mockups with a poll in which I asked you to vote which
of my 1911s looked best with the grips. Here's that post:

Well, I tried them on the Colt, Smith, and Dan Wesson. I thought for sure I'd go with the Colt because
of the simple look to the Colt...no other real design elements to conflict with the dragons. But, I didn't
like how the polished buffalo horn looked with the matte finish on the Colt. Besides, it's a Colt. I like it
with double diamonds, even if mine are rosewood Altamont grips.
Nutshell:I decided on the DW despite all the hard diagonal lines and lettering. I do prefer the contrasting
stainless and black, though. Bling on Bling!!! I have a Blingy 1911!!!!! We'll see how long this lasts.
Oh, the grips are wonderful looking and fit great. And, they are slim. I was worried they would be thicker
and add girth to the grip, but they are very similar to my other grips, which I like.
