Hi All
I was just at my local Academy store and they have lifted there two box limit on all ammo but 22lr and 9mm. They had a big pile of 5.56mm and said take as much as you can afford. Hope this is a sign of good things to come.

Ive noticed people on armslist keep lowering their prices and many people flag them. Hopefully its finally getting to that point where it will calm down till friday before shelves are cleared again.

Cabela's in Hamburg PA is now only limiting the .22 to 1 box, and they had a lot of boxes left. 5 cents a round, almost pre-shortage price. I added another box to my small but growing reserve.

my local Academy still has the 2 box limit on the popular calibers..... but I was able to buy 2 bricks of Federal 22 LR Target rounds today.... $17 per brick but these are the 325 round bricks.... they also have American Eagle 22 LR for $2.19 per 50 round box....no bricks of the American Eagle left... they told me they had a big crowd this morning before I got there and sold them.

American Eagle generally comes in 40 round boxes and "bricks" are 400 rounds if you want to call that a brick.

I was in local Academy last Sunday (Houston - Kirby). They had lots of everything, except .22. No limits.

I was at the local Academy here and the same applied. No limits on anything else. WWB for 45acp was $50 and also at Dicks. 6 boxes were in the case at Walmart at $40 a box.

Today is two days later. Went to Walmart after work and they still had four boxes of .45. Now they have three.

These were the .22 LRs i bought this morning at Academy in Katy, Texas

One box CCI standard, $3 plus
One box Remington Thunderbolt, $2 plus.

I was feeling very happy coming out with these two. THe last time i got lucky was in ist week of July. Still not the best times for .22 LR ammo. I see it aint ending till next year.
