I live in the Pacific Northwest and wanted to share this is the rig I pieced together that really works for me. I always am wearing jacket in winter due to all the rain and I drive to many places. I pieced together this shoulder rig for my Sig P225 (EDC gun).

Holster: Black Hawk Serpa ( I love the retention and quick release)
Straps : High noon Under Armor (from previous EDC handgun)
Light: Stream Light Poly Tac
Light holster: Black Hawk ( I just put the belt clip on the rear magazine flap)

I tried the Black Hawk shoulder rig, but found it hung too low on the gun side and I could not adjust it any higher. The holster is great, but they need to work on the straps

The combination of 2 single stack magazines and the light balance the weight of the P225 nicely.

This light holder works fantastic in the horizontal position.

Title

I called it that because of that 1980's show Macgyver when he would piece something together out items laying around and stop the world from blowing up.
