finally shot it last Sunday. the first magazine was horrible. it had 4 or so failures to feed with federal 115 gr fmj but didn't happen again afterwards. trigger was nice. i don't know what it means but after having shot about a 100 or so fmj rounds through it federal and my reloads with rmr 115 gr fmj. i still am getting copper out of the barrel even after at least 6 soakings of bore cleaner. my other guns when new took only 3 to relatively clear when shooting fmjs.

P-10C malfunctions are rare in my experience. I've run about 2,500 rounds through mine, all but 100 or so my reloads, with a grand total of zero malfunctions of any kind. I'd chock your first magazine issues up to a tight gun. The slide should run more freely in short order and you can wrack by merely thinking about it. I use a light grease that's infused with teflon on the rails.

I do find there's a lot of breaking-in to do on a P-10C. The magazine release was really stiff as delivered, and the slide release was hateful. I worked over the mag release parts and got it rather nice with little effort and some more grease. The slide release breaks in on its own in its own sweet time. I recently realized if you insert and smack a loaded mag on the base plate with gusto (palm strike) the slide drops on its own, saving you a blister.

My gun is accurate with a wide range of bullets (like everything) and I've had no copper fouling problems. I have used CFE Pistol nearly exclusively, which does seem to reduce fouling substantially.

the failures to feed were only in the first magazine. the 3rd magazine going through the gun, i used the other unused magazine and no failures to feed were noted. . it does release the slide when i tap the magazine in, which is how i normally load all my magazines anyway. it is accurate. i like the sights better than on a cz75 stock sight. i magazine release and slide release on the left side are now easy to use but tougher on the right side. i'm left handed but shoot right handed mainly so it may be my left thumb is weaker or it just needs to be used more.
i reassembled the gun this morning even if the last round of bore cleaner still was light blue. maybe the barrel will burnish out with the next few sessions. my other czs and xdm didnt do it. the gap between the slide and the frame looks odd, how come you don't see it in glocks.( i don't own any glocks)
