I bought a FEG FP9 Hi Power clone a while ago as a shooter, but I was never really happy with the sights, and a few other things. The FP9 has a vent rib along the top, and sort of looks ungainly.

Recently I bought a slide to a plain old FEG PJK-9HP, and my roll pin punches came today, so I present you all with before and after pics:

How did the before version perform though? Accuracy wise?

It was pretty good, but the sights were either machined by monkeys or mutilated at some point, making the sight picture funky. Shooting with what *looked* like a proper sight picture made it shoot a tad (1 or 2 inches) to the right.

I can't wait to see how the new one does. I'll report back when I do.

Cool, much better. Are those new grips too?

Yep, those are Uncle Mike's rubber grips. They're great.

I agree... it looks better.
But I think I would have just had new sights installed rather than get rid of the rib. The rib gave it a unique "What is that?" look to it.
